Renee Faia


Renee Faia is an accomplished film & television actor, voiceover artist, professional singer-songwriter, director,photographer, clothing designer, and all-around creative force to be reckoned with.


Renee’s standout vocal talents can be heard on countless television and radio commercials, video games and feature films. She is award-nominated for her voiceover work with major credits that include: Levi’s, Lancome, Apple/iPhone, Starbucks, Clear Mobile, KIA,  Alliance, Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame, IMAX film, Dolphins, NCIS, & Teenage Mutanta Ninja Turtles-Karai, and Gentiana/Shiva-Final Fantasy XV, Voltron and Overkill’s The Walking Dead.


Renee’s feature film voice work includes working with directors, Jodie Foster, Werner Herzog, Andrew Nicoll and James Bobin & Helen Hunt on the films, In Time, Money Monster, Queen of the Desert, Alice Through The Looking Glass and Ride.


Most recently Renee has been taking out zombies on the new video game Overkill’s The Walking Dead, as character, Sarah Bridger, well as voicing Colleen Holt on  the Netflix  animated series, Voltron - Legendary Defender.


Renee’s numerous on-camera film and television credits include: Where The Red Fern Grows, High Roller, And The Beat Goes On: The Sonny & Cher Story, The American President, Private Practice, Free Agents, Everybody Loves Raymond, ER, and Seinfeld and soon to be appearing on the ABC TV series,

For The People.


In Loveology- (short film) Renee was nominated as Best Actress (Connect Film Festival Australia) directed by HBO project Greenlight director, Mark Manolo.


After receiving a scholarship to Columbus College of Art & Design, Renee began to study painting and design. Soon after, she left her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio to head out west to Los Angeles and pursue a career as an illustrator.  For several years she worked at Castle Rock Entertainment, first in television, as stylist and then in film, as an art department coordinator.  It was at Castle Rock that she met & worked with director Rob Reiner on the film,  A Few Good Men in the art department and subsequently worked with him again as an actor in her first film role for The American President. She continued to hone her skills and work in various creative positions behind the scenes in film, television & commercials, including, set decorator, set designer, model-maker, make-up artist and photographer. All of these experiences contribute to her unique approach and vision as an actor and director.


Some of her behind the scenes credits include: City Slickers, A Few Good Men, Chaplin, Up Close & Personal, Jingle All The Way, Forget Paris, Seinfeld.


Renee wrote and directed her first narrative short film, BEAUTIFUL DEAD THINGS which had much success  touring the festival circuit receiving honors-  (Best Experimental Film) Female Eye Film Festival-Toronto, (Jury Choice)- Diversity in Cannes Film Festival and a (Platinum Remi Award)- WorldFest Houston.  BEAUTIFUL DEAD THINGS recently received distribution and will begin airing on Shorts TV in early 2019.


Renee directed a series of branding videos for the clothing line, Joe’s Jeans- for both their Classics Collection & 2018 look book. And also directed videos for the LA based clothing line, Bird Streets 2019 spring collection.


Renee directed, YOU SAY (music video) for for UK band, The Ten Five Sixty, which was an official selection at the International Underground Music Festival in Paris- 2017.


Her music video, JULIE DRINKS for the band Willodean,(filmed entirely on an iPhone 5S) won at the 2015 International iPhone Film Festival.  She also directed, SUMMER WINE (music video) for her band, THE MAZARINES, which won at the 2014 International iPhone Film Festival.


A PSA Renee directed in support of Standing Rock- A Message From Saginaw Grant has gone viral, receiving more than 3 million views world-wide.


Most recently Renee directed a music video for artist Chris Pierce with the legendary Swampers & Muscle Shoals Horns- the video is for a cover of Marvin Gaye’s-  Trouble Man  which was released on National Women’s Day- March 8, 2018.


Renee also recently completed recording her second ep, Deux, with THE MAZARINES which will drop in early 2019.

In addition to being lead vocalist/guitarist, Renee also has directed six music videos for the band.

She also sings back-up on her band mate Gregg Stewart’s self-titled solo record as well as his TwentySixteen record & photographed both record covers.



  • After a cross-country casting search of over 2,000 actors, Renee was chosen to play Cher in the highly acclaimed ABC television bio-pic, And The Beat Goes On-The Sonny & Cher Story.
  • Renee was the model for the ice sculpture/ snow dome Mr. Freeze has of his wife for the movie Batman & Robin.
  • On Batman Forever, Renee worked as an artist and painted over a dozen mini replicas of Gotham City for the snowdomes used as props by Jim Carey’s The Riddler.
  • Renee was the model/inspiration for the character, Morgana in the comic book, Lady Pendragon.
  • Renee designed one of the sets in the film, A Few Good Men.
